Law of Attraction - Problems People Have Receiving

People studying the law of attraction very often excel at the first part-asking-but it's the latter two steps that came back to haunt them. So, what is it about the answering and receiving stages that hold people up? Well, there are many things, but this article will cover two powerful and frequent sources of resistance.
A major problem people have with the answering or receiving stages is that they hold onto the idea that they need to do all the work. And while you'll very likely need to do some of the work, if you're using the law of attraction, you want to work in tandem with the universe. A simple cure for this is to make a list of what you want then write down all the things that must happen in order for you to get your goal. For instance, if you want a new girlfriend, you must meet her, she must like you, your date must go well enough, etc. Then, consider whether or not you have any direct control over each of the items necessary for you to get your goal-and then write down next to each necessary item whether or not the goal is something you need to do or something the universe needs to do. In this same case, the girl of your dreams existing, coming into contact with her, her liking you, the circumstances, etc. are all out of your control. So, what's in your control? Well, how you act, what you say, what you wear, how much cologne or perfume you put on, whether or not you smile, etc. are all under your control. So, figure out what is and isn't your job, and do a damn good job at that job.
Another problem people have in the latter two stages of the law of attraction is that they constantly check on the process. Well, that's not really accurate, this phenomenon only arises because you have a lack of faith in the law of attraction and so, you're constantly double checking the work of the universe; however, most people don't experience it as a lack of faith, but rather as an abundance of curiosity or a worry about whether or not they're doing something right or... but regardless of why you're constantly checking on the process, stop it! This is a form of resistance because you only check on it so often because you don't believe the law of attraction is working-or worse, you don't believe the universe can operate without you. And in this regard, you're saying to the universe I want my desires and I don't believe universe can deliver them to me. So, you desire something and its opposite simultaneously, which sends the universe mixed signals-and thus, you get confused results. Though it's a little harsh herein, it's very much like the maxim editors and sound engineers have about starting with subpar material, "crap in, crap out." Believe in yourself, believe in the process, believe in the universe... and then act like it!
