Law of Attraction - Letting It In

Since I began coaching people on the law of attraction, many people have been asking me questions. And of major interest to me is the ways that so many questions have the same answer. Today, we're going to talk about questions that ask for "letting it in". These are questions like, how do I get the law of attraction to really work for me? How do I attract the things I dream of? How do I live the life I really want? How do I change my point of attraction?
You can ask questions like this until you're blue in the face, but the short and simple answer is that you just have to let it in. But what does that mean, let it in? Well, that's what this article is about, so read on.
"Letting it in" is a catch phrase of Esther Hicks (Abraham). By it she (they) mean(s) that in order to receive the things you want to manifest, you must "let them in" or to both clearly desire something (and to believe you can get it) and to stay congruent with your intentions (in other words, to believe, feel, and act as if you can achieve your goals and getting out of your own way while doing everything you can to get your goals.
To clearly desire something, you need to be able to focus solely on the idea to such an extent that you can feel what it's like to have it-and that to such a level that you're okay whether or not you have it because you just feel so good regardless. This is asking and doing it well.
But the second half of letting it in is when you receive your desires from the universe. This part requires that you stay emotionally congruent and you don't commit the worst sin of all: standing in your own way. To stay emotionally congruent is very difficult for many people because if you don't have something, it's far easier to focus on the lack of something than the future (and for now, imaginary) having of it. Likewise, the more you want something, the less likely it is to appear in your experience and the more likely the absence of it in your life is to bother you. And though there are many techniques to help you with this, the major goal of someone studying the law of attraction is to learn to feel good at all times no matter what (in other words, letting the good feelings in).
Also, you can sabotage yourself by using your emotions in this way; however, you can also sabotage yourself with your beliefs. You can easily do this by trying to think about the logic of the law of attraction. And if you think about the law that way, you're very likely to fail (though, it can be done on a very secular level if you think about it solely as modifying unconscious processes-contact me if you'd like to discuss this idea further). Though it sounds trite, one of the tasks you need to master while using the law of attraction is the ability to override anything including your emotions, beliefs, and actions.
